Undergo this life changing journey. One that will guide you into and through a deepening into your artistic soul. If you love Mixed Media, this journey was designed for You!
Open for fall registration closes Oct. 1.
Artist women are natural visionaries. Yet some artists, some creatives have not awakened to this deep quality within that often lays slumbering until something significant in our life jars it awake. I don't want to jar it awake, I want it to be a beautifully intentional process of awakening, a choice to open the portal within you and allow through the magnificence of you!
Come take a journey as take hold of the Red Thread, deepening our connection as you walk into your soul Artist to artist, hand to hand, The Artist's Way beckons us to step into our inspiration, into the spiritual experience of creativity which is mystical. Opening our souls to what must be made through the act of intentional creativity. Making our art, we make artful lives. Making our art, we meet firsthand the hand of our Creator.
No matter what your age or your life path, whether making art is your career or your hobby or a dream, it is not too late or too egotistical or too selfish or too silly to work on your creativity. Creativity is an experience, a spiritual experience. It does not matter which way you think of it: creativity leading to spirituality or spirituality leading to creativity. In fact, there is no distinction between the two. In the face of such experience, the whole question of belief is rendered obsolete. As Carl Jung answered the question of belief late in his life, "I don't believe, I know."
The following spiritual principles are the bedrock on which creative recovery and discovery will be built as we journey together.
1, Creativity is the natural order of life. Life is energy: pure creative energy.
2. There is an underlying, in-dwelling creative force infusing all of life -- including ourselves.
3. When we open ourselves to our creativity, we open ourselves to the creator's creativity within us and our lives.
4. We are, ourselves, creations. And we, in turn, are meant to continue creativity by being creative ourselves.
5. Creativity is a Divine gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to MotherFatherGodGoddessAllThatIs.
6. The refusal to be creative is self-will and is counter to our true nature.
7. When we open ourselves to exploring our creativity, we open ourselves to God, Goddess, Great Spirit: good orderly direction.
8. As we open our creative channel to the creator, many gentle but powerful changes are to be expected.
9. It is safe to open ourselves up to greater and greater creativity.
10. Our creative dreams and yearnings come from a divine source. As we move toward our dreams, we move toward our divinity.
As such there is a necessary time commitment during the 12-week journey of about seven to ten hours each week--an hour a day, or slightly more if you choose. This modest commitment to using the tools can yield tremendous results within the twelve weeks of the course. The same tools, used over a longer period, can alter the trajectory of a lifetime.
Each week special projects are given to you to create and through creating, learn and experience specific tools. Tools not only to strengthen your artistic craft, but tools also of personal conscious transformation.
This is a journey of your creative recovery or perhaps your creative rebirthing. There will be a rhythm to each week. This allows for greater support and also the development of positive creative habits that form and become a normal way of life for you by the completion of our 12-week journey.
To do this, I will use some tools: Weekly Meditation, weekly Seed Journaling, Daily Doodle, Artist Date, and Creation Time.
I will begin each new week every Sunday by sending you an email containing links to the week process.
A suggested manner in which to work would be to complete any assigned reading, the weekly meditation and seed journaling on Sundays, and use Monday - Friday to perform the Daily Doodles. Choose which day of the week will be your weekly Artist Date and then keep it on that day each week. Lastly, I recommend assigning Saturdays as your Creation Time. This is only a suggestion and what worked for me but based on your personal schedule, yours might need to be different.
My point here is to set YOUR WEEKLY SCHEDULE and then commit to it for the 12-weeks. However, because this is a solo journey, you are welcome to take as long as you need to complete, but I highly recommend approaching it as an intensive. By doing so, you will get so much more out of it and achieve greater results.
You are reading this because it calls to your Artist Soul, your Creative Soul. Register today to give yourself this gift of a 12-week soulful journey.
