GAIA'S GROVE is a new offering to parent and teacher artists who feel called to teach children healing art the Intentional Creativity way.
Intentional Creativity Kids Art
Healing the Whole Brain Through Art
A Soul Project Offered to the Children of the World and to the adults who nurture them!
IC Kids have a place to create art 24/7, whether it is a converted unused dining room, or the extra bedroom rarely used for a guest, or a portion of their parent’s own art studio.
As a children's healing art program we hold that while childhood is, indeed, a time of education, we must reach and educate the whole child, their heart, imagination, will -- not just their mind.
IC Kids are guided into their imagination, free to paint whatever they see, feel, or want. From a young age of 3-5, they are encouraged to emote using imagery and colors as well as with words.
IC Kids are not confined by creative rules but given cart blanche to explore through many mediums and tools. When children are happy, they are positive and creative. When they are creative without rules but given the freedom to create as their internal imagination propels them to, they become quite happy.
How is this program different than other children art programs? IC Kids are given the freedom to fully express what they feel, see in the world around them or imagine inside themselves, without any rules, censoring or adult critiquing because we recognize that while we are all born a sincere creature, with great curiosity and limitless imagination and potential, a critical word, like "no" to the young artist can instantly shut them down.
To fully provide a pathway for the continual deepening in such attributes of exploration and growth in the young mind and emotions through intentional creativity expression.
