Faerie Thyme Focus
Together we are going to travel around the cardinal wheel, visiting each element, opening to an Elemental Fairy Ally, activating the portal of their nature kingdom and putting in place an incredible Fairy Ring of protection around us. We will end in the sacred center where we will meet the Faery Princess Muse, guardian of the entrance into the Betwixt and the Between of our world and their realm, which we call "Faeryland."
Activating the Fairy Ring
Through the use of ritual, and the saying of some Gaelic words, we shall activate our safe space within and around us.
We begin the adventure by opening to and aligning with our inner core elemental self.
NOW, and this is an important "NOW" -- *smiles* -- If you have already taken cosmic smash book classes and made one or 100 you might fool yourself into thinking you know what to do and think it's ok to not watch the first two class recordings. Not watching will be a HUGE mistake for one very simple reason:
You don't know how to do it the FAERY WAY. I advise you to relax and be open to learning the process from a new perspective. Remember, this is not an ordinary cosmic smash book, you are creating a Sacred Faerie Thyme Cosmic Smash Book... BIG difference.

Housekeeping Information
The intention of this adventure is to set your intention for our time together. I am bringing an intention to you — Faerie Thyme — and this class is designed to take you deep into yourself while deepening your connection to the Elemental Faery Allies while creating the sacred fairy ring within yourself, as well as in your energy field and of course, we use our cosmic smash book to anchor it all into.
My goal is to open a real portal into their realm IF that is what you wish. However, and I say this not lightly, be careful what you ask for. Interacting with them in our world, which we call “having a brush with Them” is one thing, walking into their Realm, and opening to the Land of Faery in the Otherworld is another thing. My apprentices in the Faery-Faith had to undergo preparation to do so for a year and only then would I willingly take them in. Their world is quite real.
THIS is why the Series One ~ Faerie Thyme is all about securing sacred space as a form of protection around you, within you.
Normally, when you create a smash book you won’t have a dedicated intention for the entire book, it is normally used for ongoing processes as a form of daily practice. I guess, as Catt has shared, her the intention of every CSM is to get a fuller understanding of your mission or practice with Smash Booking.
There is no right or wrong practice of Smash Booking and even if you set an intention for a book, the mystery inside its pages will unfold. And so it will be with your dedicated FAERIE SMASH BOOK.
Class One - Your Core Essence
Activating your inner essence to align you with the Fae
Resting Page
Catt Geller tells us: "This is a page I make when I need to lay down energy and move the energy to a place where I can get a pause from it, get some distance from it, to settle it, to come back to it.
- Is a breathing out
- It is a form of letting go
- It is something to create in a moment when I need to come place to move energy and to settle in.
A resting page is what I create and where I go when I have been triggered by something and it is happening at a very inconvenient time. This may be grief, fear, a memory from the past that has slipped in while I was open to messages. I use the resting page to move the energy of anger and resentment, and to come to a place of settling. I use resting pages when I am irritable and discontent and don't know why and don't have the time to figure it out at that moment. But I need to lay it down for the time being, so that I can move on."
I will share my views on the Resting Page in the class recording. Please hold inside of you the Faerie Virtues, these make the Faerie very happy! You never want to upset a Fae!

Today as you tune-in to the creation of your Grounding Page, which is a standard page created in every single Smash Book made, The one in your Faerie Smash Book will begin to form the sacred Faery Ring inside it.
Your Resting Page aligned you with the element of your Fairy Ally or what is also called your core elemental essence. But now you shall walk the boundary of the Wheel of the Year, the wheel of the elements, the wheel of the Faery Allies, who are guides and guardians, protectors and healers.
In the Faery-Faith we begin our new year with Samhain — Summer’s End and the entry into the Time of the Little Sun, the dark half of the year. Here we align with the element of Earth - Winter - Midnight - North
Open to the FIRST Ribbon placed in your book - don’t worry if you’ve already used this page, if so, just turn to the next page behind it.
Here will be the Province of Ulster, the Faery City of Falias, where the Stone of Destiny resides. Through Portal you will open to alignment with your Earth Faery Ally. You will scrunch the pages. Doing this makes me think I am listening to the sound of walking a dirt path, the crunching of fallen leaves beneath my feet, the snapping of twigs, the resulting of the wind through the tree boughs. What does it sound like to you?
Intention: I seek to know what I must do to strengthen my physicalness, my body, my health.
Please note: When you come to the element of your core essence that you connected with in class one, use the opportunity sink deeper into communion with your personal Elemental Faery Ally. As you continue to work with this lovely nature being, shift your intention to become more personal or specific with regards to that area of your life.
Class Three - Air
The East
You aligned with your core element and created your Resting Page. You began to create the sacred Faery Ring of your Faerie smash book opening the portal of the north and attuning to your Earth Faery Ally. Now you move to the East.

Please open your book to the 2nd ribbon - don’t worry if you’ve already used this page, if so, just turn to the next page behind it. Here will be the Province of Leinster, the Faery City of Gorias, where the Sword of Illumination resides.
Through the Portal we will open to alignment with our Air Faery Allie.
Let us scrunch the pages, listening to the sound of wind talk, air rushing through long grasses, though our hair, lifting into swirling collums of force.

Today we step in to the South Province of our Fairy Ring and face the Fire Portal.

Please open your Faerie Thyme cosmic smash book to the 4th ribbon (which means you will be skipping ribbon #3 which is most likely in the middle of your book). At the 4th ribbon, perhaps you chose a red ribbon for this one. Mine is also represents the Red Thread Connection. Here will be the Province of Munster, the Faery City of Findias, where the Gae Bulga or Spear of Destiny resides. Here is the south in our Fairy Ring and through this Portal we will open to alignment with the Fire Fairy Ally.
