Cosmic Smash Booking

As Cosmic Smash Booking founder, Catt Z, informs all her students right from the start, there are 4 Rules of Cosmic Smash Booking, the first rule: 

                    There are no rules 

starts the journey into this incredibly simple but deep process.  You will have fun while digging to the root of things and be relieved at the insights that rise up.  Though we are not psychologists (at least I am not) I believe the art of Cosmic Smash Booking is a powerful tool of therapeutic art, of which I am a certified Life Coach and a certified Cosmic Smash Booking Teacher.

Faerie Thyme is my theme through which we will create your Cosmic Smash Book, whether it is the first time you're creating a Cosmic Smash Book or you've made twenty, every page will tie-in to the Faerie Realm, Faerie Lore, and the magic of that otherworld, which is also within you. This whimsical nature hidden inside will lure you through a portal of self-discovery to a more happy carefree feeling in a very short period of time!

Please know, each class is one hour in length on Zoom. In between classes you might have a tiny bit of homework to do in completing your page, but who doesn't like THAT kind of homework. 

Every new cosmic smash booker must learn the basics and so class one will be a HOW TO make a Cosmic Smash Book. We begin by designing the cover and then transforming the book by using the five senses or elements. You will learn the 4 Rules of Cosmic Smash Booking! Oh yes!!! and take a look at the standard pages every Cosmic Smash Booker has, which we will create in class 2.

We call the standard pages: a grounding page and a resting page. What these two pages mean will be shared as we create them. Every Cosmic Smash Booking course will include these two pages. After that we will begin to do what's called prescription pages which will be three days of creating fun and whimsical pages in our theme.

You will be pleased to learn that our supply list is minimal and in fact you probably already have most of the supplies. Below is my Amazon prime supply list, where you are free to purchase needed items right from that list (no, I do not make commission).  USE what you already have rather than buy a bunch of new things, or maybe buy one new thing you don't have so that you can experiment and stretch outside the box a little.  The list I offer is just a suggestion. You'll see me use these items and a few of the normal supplies that we use all the time.

Items NOT on the Supply List:

~ large sheet of paper we will use in making the cover (more   on this in your welcome email.

~ tapes: different kinds from scotch tape, masking tape to washi tape.

~ Colored markers, crayons, pencils (water soluable preferable)

~ collage materials always good to have,

~acrylic paints, brushes

~ white gesso

~ gel

~ paintbrushes + water container

My love for the world of Faerie began at the young age of three when we visited Disneyland for the first time and I met... yep you guessed it: Tinkerbell. That little doll was just the awakener to what I would grow up to learn is a real magical world that guides us into a deep state of mysticism.

Years of study and otherworld pathworking, as well as going to Ireland for 15 years on sacred pilgrimages forever changed me... in some ways for the better and in other ways, well, the longer you know me you'll see and you can be the judge of that!

This 5-week course will begin September 17 and conclude October 15, 2020.
