a visionary sacred artist, She Who Creates the Balance of Her Life through image with vibrant colors & symbols.
My roots are deeply submerged into my creative soul and I walk under the inspirational guidance of Goddess and Muse. Dedicated to the efforts of assisting other women awaken to and flame the inner fire of creativity into full expression, I share my artistry with other ladies (and a few brave men) by offering (now only) ZOOM classes and workshops.
For over 35 years, I have been active in women spirituality & Goddess communities , facilitating rites of passages and leading sacred circles; this experience is woven into my unique teaching style.
For over three decades I have been writing books, resulting in 15 publiations on women spirituality, Goddess rituals and the Faery-Faith.
When not in my art studio creating or teaching, working on a current book, or enjoying the solitude of my garden, I take long walks on the beach with my husband, Jack.
As a child I drew images on the wall at night when I was supposed to be going to sleep or on my sister's back to help put her to sleep.
On lazy summer days the sky was a big canvas as images would emerge in the clouds or the spaces between them. In those days, sticks were paintbrushes in mud or sand.
At grade school during recess I would draw girls with long hair ending in flip curls. The other school mates wanted their "doll" and would form lines, waiting their playground time away to get one.
I doodled in diaries, later journals, later travelogues, finally in art journals. In high-school I molded clay, making my own set of ceramic dishes for my hope chest. I designed and made my own clothing and eventually, I began washing the sunset and sunrise in watery colors across pages because they were so beautiful they made me cry.
For years I "painted" with pieces of fabric stitched together to create postcard quilts.
I explored the many pigments of the earth, mixing them with mediums to use to paint sacred shields, rattles, drums and then faces with moon blood.
Full moons filled me with light. The sacred Faery mounds of Ireland conjured ancient symbolic memories awake. I painted pictures through the words of my books, illustrating what was inarticulate-able and guided kindred spirits into the Otherworld with visions I described for them.
The mystic swirled around me like gypsy skirts and shawl fringe flaring out in spiral dances of inner visions as my hands finally grabbed hold the wooden handled bore bristled brushes which I plunged into vibrancy and spread across canvas, paper, wood, anything I could get my hands on including cardboard box panels and torn shopping bags.
The rhythm of the ocean, the brilliant colors of sunset, the feeling of the sand against my bare feet truly ground me always into the core of my life. From this I will always be filled with renewed inspiration. From this my artistry in whatever form will flow. From this I share my creations.
I Matter. I AM enough.
I AM A MIXED MEDIA ARTIST
I paint what I see inside. I love creating in art journals, making altered book art journals, and taking my creations from the page to the canvas... and on occasion from the canvas to the page! My creative journey is based in watercolors but has taken me into so many mediums that I believe I love acrylics the most.
Some of the mediums I work in besides acrylics and watercolors are: gouache, water-soluable pastels-colored pencil and markers, Gelatos, Caran d'Ache Neocolor II, Oil Pastels, Soft Pastels, Graphite, Posca pens, Stabillo Pencil, Glaze Pens, Distressed Inks (spray and pad), inks of all kind, texture paste, stencils, stamps and a regular old pencil.
I love working in layers... lots and lots of layers, distressed paintings, vibrant colorful paintings, collage paintings and sketch paintings. I also work with encaustic wax and fibers, throwing in the making of journals and fiber weaving to create embellished covers. I'm your typical "artist-of-all-trades" aka mixed media.
I AM AN INTENTIONAL CREATIVITY TEACHER
2019 began a new journey for me as a certified Intentional Creativity Teacher of Color of Woman, Musea. In my own deepening as an artist, I found the Intentional Creativity philosophy to be 100% aligned with my own. Thus, I created the Visionary Artist Path offering of classes sharing art with other awakening and mystical women who feel drawn to me as one of their mentors creatively but also for women spirituality and Goddess awareness.
Last but not by any means least, I am also a Therapeutic Art Life Coach with Udemy University and adore sharing creative processes with others to assist them in removing blocks, overcoming obstacles for finding release and healing along their journey. To compliment this artistic pathway, I certified as a COSMIC SMASH BOOKING healing guide with Catt Geller, the founder of CSB.
And, I guess you can say I am obsessed with anything creative because I don't know how not to be creative. I have a strong feeling I am Like YOU!
IN ADDITION TO MY ART
I am the author of 9 non-fiction books and 7 novels, my recent release, BEYOND ATLANTIS, The Empress and the Magician, can be found on Amazon. I am currently writing the final book to the Faery Chronicles, the published novels and my other books can be found at THE FAERY CHRONICLES website.
Before the Covidian Era, I served the broader community as a a Holy Fire II, Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher and held a private healing practice in my home office. Sadly, I have closed my office until an undetermined future time.
I believe in the supernatural, nature, and love life. I also love to play Elder Scrolls, Fallout76, Ark and Minecraft in my spare time.

This Oracle is based on symbols that speak to us from the subconscious mind. They have prescribed meanings -- the power words on the back of each and yet they don't. Divided into four groups: Nature, Objects, Symbols and People, Animals and Spirits. All cards are watercolor paintings by Kisma.
