I may not be the best artist, or have a huge number of class participants, but what I do have is the experience, knowledge and wisdom of guiding women into a deeply soulful experience, one that embraces woman mysteries, Sacred Feminine, a magical, joyful, loving life and art practices that CAN and WILL kick-start your creativity or open you wider to let the fullness of your inner light shine brighter into your world.
I have soul-based spirituality and I Love what I love creating!
So, whether only one person or 200 join me, you will receive the full quality of what I have to offer.
As a child I drew images on the wall at night when I was supposed to be going to sleep or on my sister's back to help ease her into sleep.
On lazy summer days the sky was a big canvas. I would watch clouds change shapes and become an image, sometimes in the spaces between them.
In those days, sticks were paint brushes used in mud or sand and grade school recesses were spent drawing girls with long hair ending in flip curls for my classmates who waited their playground time away to get a "doll".
I doodled in diaries, then journals, later travelogues, scrapbooks, and eventually art journals.
In high-school I molded clay into pots, figures and created a set of ceramic dishes for my hope chest. I designed and made my own clothing, leaning toward fashion design.
I played the guitar and dulcimer and sang as if I was the next Joni Mitchell.
Eventually, I began washing sunrises and sunsets in soft and bold colors across pages because they were so beautiful they made me cry.
For years I "painted" with pieces of fabric stitched together to create postcard quilts.
I explored the many pigments of earth, mixing them with mediums to paint sacred shields, rattles, drums and then faces with moon blood.
Full moons have always filled me with light. I became conscious that I was a "moon child" at a very young age.
The sacred Faery mounds of Ireland conjure ancient symbolic memories awake.
I have always written poems, lyrics and began to paint pictures through the words of my books, illustrating what is inarticulate-able and guide kindred spirits into the Otherworld with visions I describe for them.
The mystic swirls around me like gypsy skirts and shawl fringe flaring out in spiral dances of inner visions until my hands finally grab hold the wooden-handled-bore-bristle brushes that I plunge into vibrancy and spread across canvas, paper, wood, anything I can get my hands on including cardboard box panels and torn shopping bags.
The rhythm of the ocean, the brilliant colors of sunset, the feeling of sand between my toes has always truly grounded me into the core of my life. From this I will always be filled with renewed inspiration. From this my artistry will always flow. From this I share my creations. From this I know:
I Matter. I AM enough.
Working in "borrowed books" to evoke the playful whimsy I am feeling, always makes me smile.
I love sharing this playfulness with the women who join me, for it is my hope to see joyful smiles on their faces too.
Soft or bold, the colors awaken love and the images that appear arise from deep within, unplanned and spontaneous, an outpouring of soulful expression.
Who are you? What do you hold inside your heart, your body, your mind, your soul? Painting what lives inside of me awakens deeper understanding of my true beliefs and how I want to live my life unapologetically.
My studio sometimes becomes a laboratory in which I dive-in to curious "tries" ~ that can turn-out quite lovely.
Undergoing challenges stretch us and help us grow as artists.
Are you ready for a challenge?

I co-curated the 16 artists for the 2022 Biennale. My role was to create environments between installations as well as my own, The Goddess Tower, which is shown in the early portions of the film.
In 2022 I received a SLEA 6-mos grant. My project was titled "Temple of the Divine Feminine". Though I was the recipient of the grant, I broadened the project, turning it into a Women's Artist Collective.

I guess you can say I am obsessed with anything creative because I don't know how not to be creative.
I have a strong feeling I am Like YOU!
IN ADDITION TO MY ART
In 1989 I became a published author and have been writing ever since.
I am the author of 9 non-fiction books and 8 novels, my recent release, IN SEARCH OF THE BELOVED, and a listing of my other books can be found in my BOOKS.
Before the Covidian Era, I served the broader community as a Holy Fire II, Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher and had a private healing practice. Sadly, I have closed my office. I no longer teach Reiki and I only give treatments to family and close friends, oh and my puppy too!
I believe in the supernatural, nature, and love life. In my spare time I love to play Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), Fallout76, and Mindcraft on XBox under the gt FlowerChild567.
Most days I can be found in the studio creating, teaching Zoom art classes, in Twitch, sometimes writing and at some point in ESO. I love taking walks with Jack, and can often be found walking on the beach with him and our spoiled puppy, Gracie.
